Here is The Thing R. Kelly

Your latest album The Buffet isn’t selling because you have a stigma attached to you that you can’t get away from. You’re alleged to have engaged in some lewd goings ons with girls. It could be a bad luck of the draw that your trade is singing songs about loving and making love to women winds up with a dark cloud of abusing and sleeping with underaged girls over your head.

Folks don’t like it when a grown ass man messes with their girls – or in your case is alleged to have messed with their girls.  If convicted convicts draw a line at what you don’t do you know crossing that line is fucked up.

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, it’s all alleged and you were never criminally charged with doing anythng. Even with video footage floating around at the time that suggested you were guilty of something – charges never came.

No charges, warants no appology. That’s the problem with not addressing something 99% of folks think you did – you don’t have to talk about it. And by not talking about it leaves them wondering if you might pop up somewhere being alleged to have done the same thing again.

And then too, just being accused of messing with underaged folks leaves a sour taste in folks mouths. They aren’t going to support anyone associated with such dastardly deeds.

Following the week that landed you on YouTube literally begging folks to buy your latest album you were granted and opportunity to talk about yourself on Huff Post Live.

You had to know the questions about the past allegations were going to come up. Knowing they were going to come up you should have been ready to respond honestly and in a non-defensive manner.

But what did you do?

When asked how you would respond to fans who are hesitant to support the album due to your controversial history, your response  was swift and offensive:

“F**k that. You can’t satisfy everybody, I will continue to do my job until I get fired, and the only people who can fire me are my fans.”

Soo, fuck us that wonder about your storied past?  Hmmm and you wonder why you can’t sell records.

And then you walk out before the interview ends.

Hey R. – only cowards and and the guilty run – which one are you?

I’m out.
