None of us could come up with 6 numbers to pull down the Wednesday, January 6, 2016 Powerball jackpot of 400 million plus so the money train keeps chug a lugging along to the next drawing. While it’s chug a lugging to the next drawing its picking up more money.

The Saturday, January 9th jackpot will roll over to an estimated $700 million.  According to Texas Lottery spokesperson Kelly Cripe, that’s the largest lottery pot in U.S. history.

If you’re looking for every angle to improve your odds – add this one to your list. You might want to buy a ticket in the state of Pensylvania.

In the past 13 years, 16 Powerball jackpot winners have bought their tickets in Pennsylvania, more than any other state.Powerball is played by 44 U.S. states as well as the District of Columbia, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.

Or you might want to run over to Arizona and play some numbers.  Since the $2 million Powerball launched in January 2011, Arizona has had 14-second prize winners of $1 million.

Then you could just stay where you are and play in your own state which is what most people will do.

Use your own formula for arriving at what you hope, pray, and dream will be the winning numbers.

And if you win – throw a blogger a few bucks.

Let me see if I can get 6 numbers out of this post to play.

6 20 2 13 16  44

Or I see 6 14 20 50 10  7.

Or there is this quick pick from Wednesday that I could run back.

Whatever your numbers are I hope you hit.
Good luck.
