Complacent? You’ll Rust Away Before You Wear Away

Rusted Out Truck

“A man will rust out quicker than he’ll wear out” – Harland Sanders

He was a living testament to his famous quote that should inspire all who are just laying around waiting for change to happen in their lives.

The good Col was well past 50 before he managed to bring together what we know is KFC.

You’re never too old to win.

Now if you become complacent and marinate in what you know is an adverse environment you wind up like the truck in the picture. You weather rust  out before you wear out.

When you submit to a negative thought process that delivers to your mind you’re never going to be better than where you are and you give up on going any further you wind up like the truck in the picture. Discarded, weathered out, forgotten, with the weed of  inactivity  overcoming your stagnant state.

Don’t be that guy or girl.

Keep it moving, keep it all the way live and you’ll get to your place. As long as you’re moving you’re relevant. As long as you’re relevant there will always be a reason for you and someone else to make sure you’re not discarded and forgotten.

I'm a curious one that finds politics, social issues, and diverse progressive solutions interesting. I believe information and education are the most powerful weapons one can arm himself with. Those two dynamics alone open the doors to opportunities. I also subscribe to each one teach one for a better world for all.
