Shout Out To The Baby Mamas Coming Through

“And I know they like to beat you down a lot
When you come around the block, brothers clown a lot
But please don’t cry, dry your eyes, never let up
Forgive, but don’t forget, girl, keep your head up
And when he tells you you ain’t nothing, don’t believe him.” – 2 Pac

“Baby Mama” is two words together that have been crudely stereotyped. The two words together often conjure up images of poor single women with multiple kids by often times multiple men. Baby Mama has been mistakenly articulated by many as a  single woman with a child or children on the outside of the union of marriage looking in.

I like to seek the positive out of things and people if I can.

The words  Baby Mama can be applicable to any female who cared enough about a seed that was planted within her to nurture, feed, carry, and deliver it into this world and then make the sacrifices required for seed to survive in a world not so friendly to her or her offering.

As quiet as the stereotyped noise would like to keep the underlying truth – there are a plethora of married and in relationship Babby Mama’s among all the single ones holding it down for their children – Man commitment be damned.

To all those beautiful, strong, fearless, loving, nurturing, women towing the load and getting it done, The Geo Gee Experience would like to say Happy Mother’s Day ladies.

Here’s Fantasia Barrino to take from here for us.

I'm a curious one that finds politics, social issues, and diverse progressive solutions interesting. I believe information and education are the most powerful weapons one can arm himself with. Those two dynamics alone open the doors to opportunities. I also subscribe to each one teach one for a better world for all.
